Unidentified Human Remains in B.C.
You can access B.C. case profiles of unidentified remains from the navigation bar on the left.
The case profiles contain images which may include retouched facial photographs and photographs of tattoos and distinguishing physical features. Some profiles may also contain facial reconstructions. These fabricated images may not always resemble the person as they actually appeared during life and should be considered an approximation of their appearance.
Only those cases where there is enough information available to the British Columbia
Coroners Service to develop a descriptive profile are presented in the database.
The database does not contain all such investigations being conducted by the Office
of the Chief Coroner.
The B.C. Coroners Service seeks the public's assistance in determining the identity of these persons. Should you have a query about an investigation or a tip regarding any of the unidentified remains displayed in this database call the: Identification Tip-Line – 1 877 660-5077.
Caution: Images presented in this website may be disturbing to some viewers. Every effort has been made to present images in a way that is not offensive or uncomfortable for the viewer, or disrespectful of the deceased. In consideration for the deceased person and their relatives, we would ask those accessing this website to not disseminate the images contained herein.
